ESRA KİZİR GÖKÇEN
Turkish artist, Istanbul 1971, London located since 2016.
I am concerned about the sustainability of life, which is collapsed by human greed. While adding self vision and criticism to my artworks I try to reach a new exciting order from the dullness of ordinary life. Choosing the freedom to use the elements of art in my own unique way of expression.
Esra, graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Graphic Design Department in 1993. Took the pedagogical information classes in 2000-2001 in the same university.
Has a colorful and lineal approach in her paintings and prints.
Attended many group exhibitions and juried exhibitions.
The artist has many artworks in collections in Turkey, USA, UK, China, Italy, Cyprus, Finland, Ukraine, Spain and Bulgaria. Esra is based in London from the summer of 2016 after Istanbul.
